RE: PETITION TO SUPPORT H.R. 3096

Dear Senator (Last Name)

We, the undersigned representing all citizens aspiring for democracy
for our native Vietnam, urge you to support the Bill H.R. 3096 which
has been passed on the House with an overwhelming 413/3 vote.

H.R. 3096, a bill to Promote Freedom and Democracy for Vietnam,
sets benchmarks for the Vietnamese Communist regime leaders
to clearly demonstrate that they have substantially improved 
human rights conditions and respect religious freedom, by 
releasing all political and religious prisoners including returning 
estates and properties confiscated from churches;
and have stopped any government of Vietnam official or entity
being complicit in a severe form of trafficking in person.

While people in the free world is enjoying their freedom, more than
83 millions Vietnamese people in Vietnam are still being harshly
persecuted for expressing their political beliefs, and for practicing
their religions. This is totally unacceptable!


As American citizens, we are all committed to a common goal, 
a goal which many courageous Americans before us have sacrificed
for: To promote democracy around the world.  


H.R. 3096 is a gateway through which the free world can bring 
democracy to Vietnam.  We believe that once this bill has 
become Law, we will be much closer in bringing true freedom to 83
millions in Vietnam, and this Law will also bring joys to all freedom loving
people in America..
